Frequently Asked Questions
How does weekly meal service work?
Every Thursday we send out a new menu offering several seasonal options. You decide which menu items you wish to order and how many of each you would like. Orders must be received by Sunday at midnight. Monday is spent gathering the fresh ingredients necessary to prepare the meals. Tuesday is cook and pickup/deliver day. All orders are prepared from scratch in our commercial kitchen and delivered to your home that evening. We use recyclable, BPA free containers that are freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe.
What if I am trying to lose weight or am on a special diet?
We can accommodate most dietary special requests (allergies, vegetarian, paleo, autoimmune disease, prediabetes) although not all dishes can be reworked and some may require a small fee for the extra ingredients required.
What areas do you service?
We are based in Pisgah Forest, NC and are currently available in select areas of Transylvania County.
How are your ingredients sourced?
Knowing where our food comes from is important and we are lucky to live in a region with an abundance of amazing local farmers. In addition to growing our own herbs and microgreens, as an ASAP Appalachian Grown Partner we try to source everything as close as possible through such vendors as: Deep Woods Mushrooms, Pitch Pine Organic Farm, Eastatoee Community Farm, McCall Farm, Root Bottom Farm, Edgewood Farm/Mountain Valley Meats, Calee's Coops, Cherryfield Farm, Bracken Mountain Bakery, Mills River Creamery, Rooster Head Plantation, Creaseman Farm, Davis Family Farm, Pisgah Coffee Roasters and the WNC Farmers Market.
